One of the most frequently asked
questions that we get is how to price your items. Here are some guidelines
for pricing. Keep in mind that you choose the price of your items.
You can follow these guidelines or disregard them if they are not applicable to
your item.
-
Price to Sell: Think of yourself as a shopper -
if you saw your item and looked at the price, what price would make you
exclaim "What a great deal!"? That is pricing to sell.
-
Research your item. How much is it brand new?
How much are similar items selling for on Ebay or Criagslist? All of
this information can help you determine what price to set for your item.
-
Describe your item well: Is your item unique?
Wish you had more space to describe your item? We encourage our
consignors to include as much relevant information as possible on their
items.
-
Group Items Together: Items in sets sell better than
single items. This applies mostly to clothing but it can be applicable
to other items as well.
-
1/2 Off: The last day of our sale is 1/2 off day.
You have the option of discounting your items when you enter them into our
system. We strongly recommend that you opt to discount your items,
especially if you are planning on donating them at the end of the sale.
On 1/2 off day discounted items fly off the shelf!
