Why Consign?

Consignors have the opportunity to make money by selling their gently used items.  Additionally, consignors have the special opportunity to shop at our consignor pre-sale and get first pick of all the great items for sale.  At Baby Revolution we create an organized and high quality shopping experience for our shoppers.  That means that your items receive more attention and sell better than at other consignment sales or consignment stores.  You will receive 65% of the selling price (minus the $8 participation fee)  and get to set your own prices.  Consigning is easy, fun and profitable!

If you have children this is a great way to sell their gently used items and buy everything they need for the next stage.  Many consignors shop exclusively at our consignment sales and end up breaking even or making money each time.  Consignment sale shopping is good for the wallet and the environment.

Who Can Consign?

Anyone can be a consignor!  If you have high quality gently used baby items in your house you can become a consignor!

What Can I Consign?

Any clothing, equipment or toys related to babies or children can be consigned, with the exception of car seats and recalled items.  For detailed information about what to consign please see our "What to sell" section.  For a list of recalled items please consult this website.

Consignor Agreement

The consignor agreement must be signed at your drop off appointment.  A copy of the agreement is below.

Consignor Agreement

     

In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Baby Revolution Sale, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1.  I agree to have my items sold at the Baby Revolution Sale on March 26, 2010 - March 28, 2010 for the prices I have chosen.  I understand that my items will be sold for half-price on March 28, 2010, if I have indicated “Discount” on the tag.

 

2.  I understand that I will receive 65% of the sale price of any and all items that are sold at the Baby Revolution Sale.  I further understand that an $8.00 consignor participation fee will be deducted from my profits.  Baby Revolution Sale will issue consignor checks on or before April 15, 2010.

 

3.  I waive all claims against Baby Revolution Sale, any participants in the Sale, and the lessors/operators of the Sale’s premises for any damage to my items and/or my person.  I understand that I can check the lost-and-found bin at the end of the sale for any unaccounted for items.

 

4.  Items Marked As “Donate”: I understand that any and all items which do not sell prior to the end of the sale will be donated to a non-profit charity if I have indicated “donate” on the tag.

 

5.  Items Not Marked As “Donate”: If I have not indicated that I would like my unsold items donated, I understand that it is my responsibility to to retrieve these items during the designated pick-up time (5:00pm - 6:00pm, Sunday, March 28, 2010).  If I am unable to pick up my unsold items personally, I designate ______________________ to pick them up for me.  If I have not indicated that I wish to have my unsold items donated and I fail to pick them up during the designated pick-up time, I understand that a $10.00 fee will be deducted from my profits.  I understand that if I have not indicated that I would like my unsold items donated and I fail to retrieve these items during the designated time, all remaining items will be donated.

 

6.  Condition of Items: I understand that any item may be removed from my inventory if it does not meet our quality standards.  Items may be removed from the sale at any point, including after the initial inspection.
